With two weeks left until their first project is due, my Kendall students have been amazing me with their progress. A few of them have agreed to share what they have so far and I’m pleased to post them.

Here are two more that arrived today:
Last month, I received a request from Portfolio Magazine to create sample images to accompany an article about investment firms and hidden cash. The art director loved the Photoshop composites that I submitted, but the editors chose to go with a headshot of a portfolio manager instead. Regardless, I enjoyed the opportunity and was compensated with a handsome “kill” fee.
I apologize for not posting this sooner. This is a fully-exposed image hinted at in an earlier post.
I got a crazy idea this past Christmas to email a different image of ‘something’ for 12 days to everyone on my mailing list. My initial plan was to don hideous Christmas sweaters, but after doing the math, the sticker shock had me putting them back on the rack. Besides, Ugly Christmas Sweater parties are a better venue. So, I wandered around the thrift store until it hit me — 12 DAYS OF TASTELESS CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS! Here is a full recap:

A snowman head shoved onto a green, wooden pickup stick
with matching wood base. Its tinsel-accented “body” resembles
a pre-fertilized ovum (don’t believe me, look it up). A festive
poinsettia collar pulls it all together!
